The 4C Project Network

A good sustainability system can't be created on paper. That is why the Common Code for the Coffee Community has never been a theoretical instrument, but has been tested in different projects all over the world. The results have delivered important inputs for the further development of 4C. These projects provide valuable information, tools and lessons learnt for the project partners and further organizations in the respective countries. The learnings are shared with the 4C community.

Here you can find information on the projects which are meeting the 4C project criteria and which are testing elements of the 4C Code system. Additionally we also make available links to further sustainability projects, so called "associated projects" which cooperate with 4C.

On the world map, the different projects are presented with background, objective, sustainability activities and impact. You can directly contact the project manager to learn more about the experiences and tools applied. The "project sheets" contain a comprehensive overview on the projects and can be rapidly downloaded in pdf-format.

4C highly welcomes new partners to test the Common Code on the field and share information and lessons learnt of sustainability projects!

Interested in starting a new 4C project and gaining first hand information? Please have a look at the Criteria for 4C Projects. For more information, please contact the Secretariat.
